How this works

    
  

  

        Download .zip gives you a complete theme folder — this
        theme.xml plus every font and image in use. Unzip it into
        /roms/themes/ and pick it in UI Settings → Theme.
        Import opens an existing theme (zip or folder): its colours, fonts and
        geometry fill in these controls, its own fonts and art load into the preview,
        and files the tool doesn't touch are carried through to the zip unchanged —
        though the theme.xml itself is rewritten from the properties here,
        so anything exotic in the original is not preserved.
        Sizes are the pixels you see on a 640×480 panel; the file stores screen
        fractions, with font sizes divided by the engine's 1.31 boost. Menu row
        spacing and the hint labels come from the build, not the theme.
